Subscribe to the green bin collection service
The council is now charging for the collection of your green bins. The annual charge for each green bin is £32.
Please Note - If you buy your license over the phone or at Contact Warrington it will be £35.
Your subscription means that you’ll receive a fortnightly collection service between 5 March and 6 December 2019. Once you’ve subscribed we will send you an identification sticker to stick on your green bin(s).
- If you subscribe between 14 January and 4 March your service will begin on schedule.
If you subscribe part way through the subscription year (March - December) the charge will remain at £32 and we’ll aim to start collecting your green bin within two weeks of your subscription. If you’ve ordered a replacement and/or additional bins we’ll aim to deliver these to your property within two weeks.
If you move house part way through the subscription year you will not be entitled to a refund. However you will be able to transfer your subscription(s) to a new address in Warrington.
If you choose not to subscribe, your garden waste will no longer be collected from 2019
Please Note: There are currently a small number of residents in the borough who do not
receive a wheeled black bin collection, if you are one of these properties you cannot subscribe to the green
If you want to subscribe to this service use this form to:
- Have the existing green bin(s) at your property collected fortnightly (£32 per bin)
- Order additional green bin(s) with collection (each extra bin is £32)
- Order replacement green bin(s) if yours has been damaged, lost or stolen
You will need to have a valid bank card and an email address.
There is a 14 day cooling off period after you have subscribed to this service. Please use the subscription cancellation form to cancel your subscription during this 14 day period and receive a full refund. You can also cancel outside of the 14 day period but you will not be entitled to a refund.
